Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer – Backend (Java), to join the development team responsible for the development of backend components and Integration of the Pointillist Customer Experience Analytics platform.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Develop and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant software that will help drive improvements towards the features, reliability, performance, and efficiency of GENESYS Cloud/Pointillist.
• Work with development partners to shape the architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Have a desire to learn new things.
• Design and implement major changes and new features using Java.
• Leverage AWS technologies for the delivery of solutions is a must.
• Work as part of a cross-functional Agile development team.
• Actively review code and provide peer feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points as well as evangelize best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required.
• Gain an understanding of Pointillist UI and development practices
• Stay up to date on current technology trends, perform proof of concepts, and make recommendations for the adoption of new technology.
