Job Description

We’re currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join Kounsel’s Graduate Internship. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with experienced engineers, and make meaningful contributions to our engineering projects.
Graduate Program Details
Position: Graduate Internship
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months
Compensation: Paid
Work Hours: USA business Hours. Timezone: EST, PST, CST or MST
Responsibility
- Work closely with the product owner, UX designer, Development, and DevOps teams, perform testing activities in an Agile development environment, and deliver high-quality applications in a collaborative manner
- Focus on functional testing, may also support non-functional testing, such as performance testing, etc.
- Report testing progress timely, highlight risks to stakeholders and manage defects
- Be responsible for software testing and quality assurance of the product
- Understand and analyze requirements, prepare test data, design and execute test cases via manual and/or automation testing, and follow testing standards
- Adopt and develop automation framework/tools, continuously improving automated test suites
- Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements
- Develop effective test strategies and plans

- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Please upload ALL transcripts as part of the application process)
- Recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- 1-year experience in a related field
- Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills
- Basic Git experience
- Experience using Kotlin, Java, python or C++
- The ideal candidate will be with both manual and automation testing skills and able to support Agile SDLC
- Basic knowledge of manual testing and automation framework (BDD / Data Driven / Selenium / TestNg /etc.)
General Requirements
- Completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within the last two years.
- Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, while also contributing to a team environment.
- Must have the equipment and environment to work remotely (laptop/computer, reliable internet connection, quiet, conducive space).
