Job Description

In this role, you will: 

• Able to write and implement Test Strategy and Approach
• Experience of working with various Development Lifecycle Methodologies including Agile development
• Demonstrable methods of Test Case Design
• Test Execution and Environment Management, Defect Management and Metrics Reporting and Management.
• Ability to implement test automation using Selenium/Cucumber.
• Analysing feasibility and designing new automation tests.
• Takes ownership and maintains automated regression packs.
• Pragmatic / lean / agile testing techniques

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 

• Should have proven practical experience in test automation.
• Strong Experience with API/Web Services Testing and API Automation tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or python, SQL Queries.
• Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Rest Assured, Postman, Swagger, extent reports.
• Good exposure or knowledge of BDD and TDD framework development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Test Management Tools: Jira.
• Strong ability to define and execute Test Suites/Test Cases.

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Knowledge of Investment Banking products.
• Good to have experience in testing micro-services, Spring-boot Rest template for API automation.
• Experience in framework development from scratch.
• Have worked on Banking projects previously.
• Relevant Certifications like ISTQB, etc., if any
