Ø Skills in the area of capacity planning and physical database design.
Ø Looking for Oracle / MySQL DBA developer with knowledge to handle installation and management of multiple databases on different platforms, Application Database Design, Creating and managing tables, table spaces and roll back segments, Database Performance monitoring and tuning, Data integrity and back up, rights and support.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellence in customer service support, diagnosis, replication, resolving technical issues of simple, complex, and critical service requests at enterprise Infrastructure Landscape. The focus of this position is to provide Customer Service on Infrastructure space and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each issue reported by Itron employees and users.
Ø Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
Ø Develop processes for optimizing database security.
Ø Set and maintain database standards.
Ø Manage database access and performance tuning of database systems.
Ø Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
Ø Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
Ø Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
Ø Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
Ø Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Ø Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
Ø Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
Ø Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards.
Ø Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
Ø PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills.
Ø Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ø Impeccable attention to detail.
Education: BE, BTech, MCA or equivalent from recognized University. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.
