Job Description
We are looking for a full-stack engineer who is proficient in Node.js and Nest.js on the backend and Next.js and React on the frontend. As a full-stack engineer, you will work with team members to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software and user-facing features. You should have a deep understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. You should also have excellent communication, computer, and project management skills. We are deeply invested in challenging norms, constantly improving architecture design, exploring emergent tech and ideas, and leveraging new technologies in interesting ways to deliver a platform that empowers creators globally.
What you’ll be doing:
- Translate high-level business problems into scalable and robust solutions.
- Design and develop API(s) and services and own the end-to-end process.
- Build user-facing features using Next.js and React.
- Create microservices, tools, and libraries for the internal team and open-source community.
- Ensure the performance and security of the application/system.
- Write decoupled code and tests.
Who we’re looking for:
- Good understanding of system designs, data modeling, and low latency systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js and Nest.js on the backend and Next.js and React on the frontend.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of AWS and other related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient and scalable code.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good to have:
- Excellent knowledge about databases of different types, their use case, and their tradeoffs.
- Experience in working with payment-based systems.
