Job Title: Trainee Software Engineer

Job Description:

As a part of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing defect fixes in our customer-facing applications. The role also involves actively monitoring application performance and ensuring the smooth functioning of critical systems. Candidates must be willing to work in shifts to support our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Defect Identification and Resolution:

• Analyze and troubleshoot software defects reported by customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure the resolution of identified issues.

Application Monitoring:

• Proactively monitor the performance and availability of customer applications.
• Respond to alerts promptly and take necessary actions to minimize downtime.
• Implement improvements to enhance system stability and performance.

Shift Work:

• Willingness to work in shifts to provide round-the-clock support to customers.

Programming:

• Utilize programming skills in [mention relevant programming languages, e.g., Java, Python, C++] to develop and implement defect fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of efficient and scalable solutions.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with team members and other departments to understand and address customer issues.

Documentation:

• Document code changes, issue resolutions, and operational procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all actions taken during issue resolution.

Continuous Learning:

• Actively participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.Tech or B.Sc).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent programming skills in at least one language (mention specific languages).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Understanding of software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
