• Good hands-on experience on Vmware – Configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
• Must have good knowledge about virtualization.
• Should have basic knowledge of Vmware virtualization like ESXi Server and Vcenter.
• Should have basic knowledge of Routing, Switching, and Security.
• Should have good knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
• Snapshot, HA, DRS & Cloning background process.
• Good Knowledge of VMware technologies like -VMware High-Availability, VMware vMotion, VMware DRS, VMware vCenter and vCenter Update Manager, VMware vCenter, and Web console.

Technical Proficiencies

• VMWare Infrastructure Administration and management.
• Performance tuning of ESX server.
• Implement Hardening on ESXi Server.
• Document support processes.
• Installation of ESX Servers, vSphere Client and vCenter Server.
• Create the datastore volumes for storing VMs and data.
• Deploy Virtual Machines and use Clones, Snapshots, and templates.
• Health Check for VMs and ESX host.
• Present / Assign LUN to ESX host.

Required Skills and Experience

• Exhibit HCL Technologies Guiding Principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Dependable and flexible when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science (2019, 2020, 2021)
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Coordination with the vendor.
• VM Troubleshooting.
